Hello, everyone!! I was teaching ALL week and I am SO happy that Christmas break is finally here! I know some of you were in the same boat, while some of you had this last week off. Either way, I hope and pray you have a safe and FUN weekend with family and friends.
My class did not do our annual Gingerbread Man Musical Play this year because I am in second grade right now, and my costumes are just too small! I made it work last year with my first/second grade combo, but it was a pretty tight squeeze for those first grade main characters. I REALLY missed putting on that play! But the great news is that I’m supposed to get to go BACK TO KINDERGARTEN NEXT SCHOOL YEAR, in 2017-2018!!!! So if all goes as planned (ahem, you know how these things can be!) I’ll get to do it again next year, plus SO MANY other things that I just MISS! Hooray! If you think about it, please keep me in your prayers. My heart is with the little ones, and I want so badly to go “back down.” Below is a video of my former Kindergarten class performing the Gingerbread Man, if you would like to see it.
In lieu of a lengthy blog post this week, since we’re all about to embark on a crazy holiday weekend, we felt like just keeping it simple and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
Psst… Keep an eye out for another post on Monday…. There just might be a sale code in there…
Here are some Christmas and wintery songs to sing and dance along to this weekend! Again, Merry Christmas!
