This is a fun rhyming book for kids to make about the good food at a typical American Thanksgiving dinner or other holiday dinner. It includes mashed potatoes, green beans, roasted turkey & pumpkin pie, plus a completed dinner plate for the last page that pops out of a secret pocket on the last page! Kids love surprising their families by pulling the completed dinner plate out. It's fun and perfect for kindergarten, but it should also be great for pre-K, TK, or first-grade students.
The project includes a little reading, art, and math (patterning) on each page! You can also use the same template to do the fun "Balanced Meal" STEM activity shown in the video preview above. Each page has a rhyming refrain that says:
Dinner's ready.
Don't be late!

The project usually takes five days to complete if you do one page per day.
