This printable hand motion poster set includes movements that are described, but not illustrated anywhere in the Michael Heggerty Phonemic Awareness books, now with the posters in Spanish! Heidi made up these cards in order to simplify use of the program! These movements could be used to improve any phonemic awareness program.
This HandMotion Poster Set is a supplement to the Michael Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Program, now with the posters in Spanish! This program, also frequently misspelled as "Haggerty," includes movements that are described, but not illustrated anywhere in the books, so I have made up these cards in order to simplify use of the program. These movements could be used to improve any phonemic awareness program, and I've included a few of my own suggestions mixed in with those from the Heggerty program. There are also several pages of tips for getting started and ways to help make this excellent program more successful.
*Note that posters are included in both color and black and white, and in large and small formats, for a total of 30 pages of posters. The rest of the file is filled with tips for use and implementation, for a total of 42 pages. Posters are in Spanish only, but directions are in English.
